Find the space that is available.
Not every home has a garden. A balcony, a doorstep or a view through an open window can still offer a change of scene. Begin with the place you have rather than waiting for an ideal one.
Leave something behind.
For a few minutes, set aside the message you were about to answer or the next task on your list. Look at the shape of a leaf, the movement of a branch or the way the light falls across a wall.
Do not turn it into another target.
This does not have to happen daily or last a certain number of minutes. A pause can remain an ordinary choice. Some days you will have time for it; others will carry you elsewhere.
Bring a little of it back.
Perhaps you return with an idea, or simply a moment you enjoyed. That is enough. A small change of scene can belong in your day without becoming another thing to measure.
